Who Will Be the World’s First Trillionaire?

🚀 The British newspaper The Guardian, citing analysts from Informa Connect Academy, reports that Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, is on track to become the first person in history with a net worth of $1 trillion by 2027. Experts estimate that his wealth is growing at an average of 110% per year, making this projection very realistic.

“If each of the five richest people spent $1 million daily, it would take them 476 years to exhaust their combined wealth,” the report’s authors note.

According to the same report, globally men hold $105 trillion more wealth than women — a gap equivalent to four U.S. economies.

Currently, Musk’s net worth is estimated at $241 billion, making him the richest person on the planet. His ambitious projects — from Tesla electric vehicles and SpaceX private space flights to plans for Mars colonization — continue to attract millions in investments and worldwide attention.

Following him is Indian businessman Gautam Adani, chairman of Adani Group, whose assets are growing even faster — at 123% annually. He is projected to reach trillionaire status by 2028. Today, India is demonstrating significant economic influence: the combined wealth of its 185 richest individuals exceeds $1 trillion, highlighting the country’s growing role on the global stage.

Analysts at Informa Connect Academy also predict that by 2030, other entrepreneurs could join the trillionaire club:

  • Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia;
  • Prajogo Pangestu, Indonesian energy magnate;
  • Bernard Arnault, head of LVMH;
  • Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta.

The growth of such leaders’ wealth reflects broader trends: technological and industrial giants continue to expand their influence and fortunes. Musk notably increased his assets after acquiring Twitter, adding tens of billions of dollars to his net worth.

⚡ The takeaway is clear: the global economy is changing before our eyes. Trillionaires were once only a fantasy, and today they are becoming reality. Elon Musk and Gautam Adani are living proof that ambition, technology, and large-scale investments can generate wealth beyond the wildest expectations.
