Hackers Attack Iran’s Largest Crypto Exchange Nobitex

Iran’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Nobitex, has fallen victim to a major cyberattack. According to early estimates by crypto analyst ZachXBT, the hackers stole $73 million across Tron and EVM networks.

The pro-Israeli hacker group Gonjeshke Darande has claimed responsibility for the breach, known for targeting Iranian infrastructure in the past.

? Nobitex serves millions of users and is considered the main crypto gateway in Iran. The attack dealt a serious blow to the country’s digital security — especially amid rising geopolitical tensions.
