Social Network X is the new name for Twitter.
Twitter was bought by Elon Musk in October 2022.
In 2023, Musk renamed Twitter to X, removed the familiar blue bird, and changed the logo to an «X».
Why «X»?
Musk has long been obsessed with this letter:
- X.com — his old project that evolved into PayPal.
- SpaceX, Model X (Tesla), xAI — all feature «X».
He sees X as a kind of digital ecosystem of the future.
