Will we become robots in the future?

Neuralink and Tesla Optimus – the path to controlling a robot body with your mind

🤖 Elon Musk claims that in the future, Neuralink implant owners will be able to control Tesla Optimus humanoid robots not with joysticks or keyboards, but directly – with their thoughts. Moreover, a person will be able to feel the robot’s body as their own.

In essence, it would be like a VR game – only without the goggles and fully immersed in physical reality.

How is it supposed to work?

The concept is based on the combination of two major technologies:

  • Neuralink – a brain-computer interface that reads neural signals and sends commands to external devices;
  • Tesla Optimus – a humanoid robot capable of performing basic physical tasks.

By linking the two, a person could “transfer” their consciousness into a robot’s body, control it remotely, and even receive sensory feedback.

According to Musk, this could open new possibilities – from remote work and surgery to supporting people with disabilities and even… potential life extension.

⏳ When could this become reality?

Neuralink has just begun clinical trials on humans. Optimus is still in early development. Yet Musk believes that in the future, we will be able to “live” and act through robotic bodies.

It still sounds like science fiction – but technology is slowly catching up.
