🚀Tether may become the largest Bitcoin miner by the end of 2025

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that the company could become the largest Bitcoin miner by the end of 2025. He shared this in a podcast with The Block.

Paolo noted that the growth of Tether’s mining capacity is linked to the company’s desire to diversify assets and increase its role in securing the Bitcoin network. This move could significantly change the mining landscape, given Tether’s scale and financial resources.

“If you have a million dollars, it’s more profitable to just buy Bitcoin than to invest in mining. But in our case, considering the size of our investments, it’s important to be part of the network’s security system,” he explained.

This approach highlights Tether’s intention not only to preserve liquidity and capital but also to actively contribute to the stability and resilience of the crypto ecosystem.
